Billorgues academies
The Billorgues Academies offers you an exceptional course in the company of a remarkable artist: Alexander Boldachev! You will work on your technique, develop your musicality, reveal your inspirations, in a bucolic setting imbued with history: the Domaine de Billorgues. In addition, you will have the opportunity to experience a unique music festival: "Les Folles Semaines de Billorgues", during which you can follow Alexander Boldachev during several concerts given at the domain and its surroundings, thus discovering the backstage of the professional life of an international artist.
Instrumentarium
The Instrumentarium was created in 1980. It specializes in 3 areas: harps, pianos and scores, operates stores in Paris and Tours and collaborates with the company Arpèges Armand Meyer in Strasbourg.
As an exclusive distributor of the Salvi and Lyon & Healy brands in France, L'Instrumentarium is proud to make the best instruments available during the internship!
Alexander Boldachev
Alexander Boldachev is a world-renowned harpist and composer and winner of many international competitions. He teaches and gives masterclasses in prestigious institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, the Milan Conservatory, etc.
As a soloist and collaborative artist, he has worked with orchestras such as the Bolshoi Theatre, the National Philharmonic of Russia.
Billorgues
After participating in Napoleon's main campaigns, Imperial General Jean-Joseph Tarayre acquired the castle of Billorgues dating from the 15th century.
The property remains an agricultural estate, and the descendants of the general now live there all year round! You will be welcomed in the countryside in a unique, peaceful setting and a warm family atmosphere!

Classes are given in English in a beautiful 18th-century vaulted room near the castle. During the week, students will work on a selection of works that they will present at the end-of-stage concert. A daily schedule is then established and shared among the participants.

Several collective evenings are planned during which the participants will meet:
Masterclass given by the teacher from a selection of works decided at the beginning
Audition course of 1 or 2 volunteer students who will play a competition or concert piece and then receive the feedback of the listeners, with the aim of strengthening their presence on stage and their confidence.

As part of the "Folles Semaines de Billorgues" festival, students will have the opportunity to attend two concerts during each session. Their teacher will perform in an exceptional place outside of Billorgues and artists invited to the domain will perform in the Grange or in the gardens. Finally, at the end of the internship, students will perform in public!

During the internship, each student has a Salvi or Lyon & Healy concert harp, a bench and a desk. We take care of the possible change of the strings. Just think of your scores, your tuner and tuning key! It will be possible to practice in your room or in another room made available.
Students bringing their personal instrument will benefit from a 10% discount.

You can take advantage of the 200 hectares of the property as well as its swimming pool to relax, walk or play sports. We also offer a visit to a vineyard as well as Conques classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France.

An important aspect of the course (after practicing your instrument) is to develop strong links with the co-participants, the teacher and the organizers. We will therefore share the meals around the warm and friendly table of the Rançon - Claireaux family who will concoct homemade dishes with products from the vegetable garden or the local market. We will also try to take your dietary restrictions into account.
